CSM Update
After going through an intense pre season program, our opening league games did not go according to plan.

We went have lost all 3 games so far

  • 7-5 to Killamarsh Khoas
  • 8-2 to Norton Cylcones
  • 7-2 to Juniour Cyclones

However we are back at it, working hard training and attending spin classes for some added conditioning. This week we have challenge matches against Benarty Blackhawks and Glenrothes Grizzlies before heading back down to England next Friday in an attempt to get our first points on the board. We Play Juniour Cyclones, Glossopdale Devils, and whats sure to be another thrilling match, with Killamarsh Khaos. After our 2 meetings last season (winning one and losing one) we are now seeking revenge on our earlier defeat to Khaos.

We are also waiting patiently on our senior fixtures to be confirmed for the Scottish League. The Scottish Senoir deivsion looks to be as strong as every with 9 teams confirmed.

2010-2011 Season closing comments
CSM Hockey's first season is now complete, we had some mixed results on our travels to England with a final league position of 4th, mistakes in games we should have won, in the end cost us a nationals place. There was plenty credible performances against the sides above us which we need to now build on. CSM will continue to play 21s in BIPHA Central. A special mention must be go to Netminder Craig Mallinson, Dan Chapman, Michael Wilson, Tony Malone and Luc Drummond, who showed great commitment in making every trip and being the only players to play 100% of our games. That doesn't go unnoticed
